This
year's Walkathon will be held on Sunday, June
1st 2008 throughout the Province. Any families
wishing additional walkathon forms can contact
the head office and we will be more than happy
to send them out to you.
This year
the prizes are better than ever and we hope
to top $20,000.00.
This
is the one annual event that everyone receiving
this newsletter should attend. This is the
family event that allows us to support our
own children. Though it is our hopes that
everyone will get numerous names on their
walkathon forms, in reality if you only get
one donation we still want to see you at your
local walkathon, your attendance in itself
is a show of support.
Please
contact your local Chapter and Support Groups for the times and locations of your
walk. Families are reminded that in the event
they cannot attend the site of their local
walk they should still get their forms filled
out and walk wherever they can, the shopping
mall around their block etc. Collected
money can be turned over to your local contact
directly at your walkathon, or convert the
donations into a cheque made out to the TSAO
and forward through the mail.

Members are reminded that they should wear
last year's walkathon "T" shirts,
we only have enough left over from last year
for new families.
